Bol is small town placed between hill "Vidova Gora" and sea. It is situated on the south side of the island of Brač.
Before tourism Bol was small fishing harbor surrounded with big vineyards and olive trees. In 1950's Bol started it's climb as top touristic destination on Adriatic sea.
It owns it's fame to a unique and very beautiful beach Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn), hospitality of it's people and mild climate. Golden horn is beach composed mostly of pebble rock that that shifts it's direction depending on sea current directions and wind, very rear and fascinating phenomenon. From geological point of view Zlatni Rat was created by submarine reef that stooped pebbles and soil carried by waves and currents. Zlatni Rat is without doubt great beach but Bol has numerous others.
If you up for quiet time there is beach Martinica just below Dominican Monastery. There are also small beaches between Bol and Murvica, it takes some half of hour to go there but it's worth.
If you like wind surfing there are also beaches dedicated just for that. Hospitality is part of our culture and motto of our small family business.
